ACT is a Liberty Center Connections Support Group for female victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and other traumatic experiences.

ABLE - ADULT BASIC & LITERACY EDUCATION

Enroll now for our Applied Academics class, which is offered at the Wayne County Schools Career Center on Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 - 4:30 pm.

Friendship Meals, Inc.:

A compassionate response to community hunger.
Meals served every Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at Christ United Church of Christ on North Main St., Orrville

Hours of Service:

Monday 9 – 11:30 am and 1 – 4:30 pm

Tuesday 9 am – 12 noon and 1 – 6 pm
Wednesday – Friday 9 am – 12 noon and 1 – 4:30 pm

In-Kind donations may be dropped off in our Donation Drop Off rooms during regular business hours.  
The Clothing Drop Off Room is also open the first Saturday of each month from 9 am until 12 noon. 

Clients should be signed in 30 minutes before closing time.
No Financial Assistance can be offered on Fridays.

The following documents are required at each visit:
1. Proof of Wayne County residency for the immediate past 90 days.
2. A Social Security Number (card or official doc) for head of household.
3. Proof of income for entire household for the past 30 days.

2015 Walk to Cure Arthritis

The Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. With your donation, we change lives by helping people gain access to the critical medications necessary to live full, healthy lives and funding research that provides better treatments today and promises a cure for tomorrow. 

The event features a three-mile and one-mile course, with arthritis information and activities for the entire family. PLEASE NOTE- PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THIS EVENT

Let's raise funds to find a cure for arthritis, then come together to support each other and walk! Every step counts, every dollar matters!

supportive services.
Our local Referral Specialists will lend a listening ear, help identify your family’s needs, and get you connected to local resources that can help with:
 Accessing programs and services
 Healthy pregnancy and delivery
 Caring for a newborn
 Child development
 Social and Emotional support
 Getting your child ready for Kindergarten
Serving the families of Ashland, Holmes, and Wayne Counties.

Orrville Area Boys and Girls Club:

The Orrville Area Boys & Girls Club fills a critical need.The Club builds character through everyday leadership and guidance in behavior and attitude.

Trained professional staff provide adult mentors and role models.Nationally recognized programs help young people succeed in school, stay healthy, learn important life skills, pursue interests in the arts and sports, and explore vocational choices.

Most importantly, the Orrville Area Boys & Girls Club shows youngsters that someone cares and wants them to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

The Orrville Area Boys & Girls Club is a local organization funded principally by local supporters including the Orrville Area United Way,United Way of Wayne & Holmes Counties, fundraisers, grants, and private contributions.

We keep our annual membership and program fees as low as possible. Annual membership fee of $10.00 allows year-round access to the Boys & Girls Club.

We have been providing services to the youth of Wayne County for over 40 years.We serve approximately 1,200 youth from Wayne County.

We are guidance oriented. We emphasize positive values in the relationships members have with each other and with their adult leaders.
