Orrville Area United Way, in partnership with the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce, is thrilled to announce the upcoming Day of Caring Community Week, building on the success of the initial Day of Caring held in May. During the week of September 16-23, the communities of Orrville, Dalton, and Marshallville are encouraged to join forces, extend their helping hands, and make a positive impact on their surroundings.
With the transition to a new season and the return to school, the timing couldn't be more fitting for the community to come together and give back. This weeklong initiative is a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can create waves of positive change throughout these interconnected communities.
Day of Caring Community Week embodies the spirit of unity and service, inviting individuals of all backgrounds to participate alongside friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members. There is no registration; participants are encouraged to tag Orrville Area United Way and use the hashtag #DoCaring when sharing their experiences on social media. Alternatively, an email can be sent to ensure that the heartwarming stories of community generosity are shared and celebrated.
As we embark on Day of Caring Community Week, let us embrace the power of collective effort and showcase the shared commitment to make our CommUNITY even more vibrant and supportive for everyone. By engaging in acts of goodwill, we can collectively transform our community and create lasting memories.
