The Orrville Area United Way held their annual appreciation dinner at the Wayne College Student Life Building Wednesday, April 19th. Volunteers were recognized for their service to the Board of Directors as well as serving on the Internal Management Committee, Finance and Audit Committee, Campaign Cabinet, VITA, Percy Mascots, Events Committee, and the Citizen Review Committee.
Special recognition was also given to a volunteer who is critical to our success. Sarah Birchfield was named the 2023 Patti Ayers “Yes” Award Recipient. This award was established in 2004 to honor a special volunteer each year who models behavior and reminds us of Patti’s extraordinary gifts to our United Way and the communities we serve.
