Orrville Area United Way is proud to partner with Aspire – WCSCC! Your Orrville Area United Way grant to Aspire supports the Aspire Learning Center - Orrville, contributing to our impact area of Developing Life Skills. Students are provided with the necessary skills to pursue a high school diploma or equivalency, prepare to enter a post-secondary education, and/or earn free industry credentials to prepare for advancement in the workforce. Additionally, classes are offered for non-native English speakers in the areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. The family literacy program, Families Learning Together, is partnered with ESOL classes to provide early childhood education classes to the children of adult students, as well as combined daily activities for the family unit. This year 50 students in the Dalton, Marshallville, and Orrville area were supported as they worked toward improved literacy and employment opportunities.
We are grateful to support Aspire Learning Center - Orrville with your generous Orrville Area United Way donations! This program helps individuals and families build essential skills to manage the demands and challenges of everyday life.
